Spain is different (and even Google knows)

Even Google knows that my country is a fucking joke. Or at least our president. Or the image we spaniards have towards him. Take a look at the default Google images for many other presidents, our beloved Mariano is at the very end.

Why is this song so popular? Because even robots can dance to it.

Good job you titans from Drexel!

My friends at coloraines made me a personalized t-shirt with the sign of a street somewhere in Portugal. Here I am, being a fantastic fashion model showing off the shirt:

Oh man, one day, when I will be the Earth president, I will probably regret uploading that picture on The Internet.

In any case, you should read more about the shirt here. And… aw, you guys at coloraines rock! Thank you so much Sandra and Llobet!

Showing off NY

Four years ago I worked at a really nice startup in Spain called Mobivery, doing some iPhone development. This company has grown so much that right now it’s probably the most established mobile apps company in Spain, having won the “#1 Best Working Place” in Spain in 2011.

These guys now asked me to make short video about me in NY, as an ex-coworker. And here is the result (in Spanish). They have also blogged about it.

Mobiveryanos por el Mundo: Oriol Nieto, Nueva York from Mobivery on Vimeo.

Gracias titanes!

After a painful week and a half without service (due to some dark and evil DNS-related stuff, and even more obscure nightmare-inducing billing adventures), this site has successfully migrated to a new server. This new host seems much nicer than the old one, so I’m pretty happy now. Expect more posts from now on.

Best regards from ISMIR, Porto.
